This object defines the CODEC negotiation option which determines the order of CODECs used by a call during CODEC negotiation. The possible CODEC negotiation options are as follows: Lco - local connection options (from local call agent) Rcd - remote connection description (from remote gateway) Lcl - local CODEC list which is defined in the table, cvapCodecNegotiationTable. If the value of this object is lcoRcdLcl(1), then effectively the preferences are: 1. the first priority is to the local connection options sent by the local call agent 2. the second priority is to the remote connection description sent by the remote gateway (or related call agent) 3. the last priority is to the local CODEC list stored in local gateway If the value of this object is lcoLclRcd(2), then effectively the preferences are: 1. the first priority is to the local connection options sent by the local call agent 2. the second priority is to the local CODEC list stored in local gateway. 3. the last priority is to the remote connection description sent by the remote gateway (or related call agent) If the value of this object is rcdLcoLcl(3), then effectively the preferences are: 1. the first priority is to the remote connection description sent by the remote gateway (or related call agent) 2. the second priority is to the local connection options sent by the local call agent 3. the last priority is to the local CODEC list stored in local gateway If the value of this object is rcdLclLco(4), then effectively the preferences are: 1. the first priority is to the remote connection description sent by the remote gateway (or related call agent) 2. the second priority is to the local CODEC list stored in local gateway 3. the last priority is to the local connection options sent by the local call agent If the value of this object is lclLcoRcd(5), then effectively the preferences are: 1. the first priority is to the local CODEC list stored in local gateway 2. the second priority is to the local connection options sent by the local call agent 3. the last priority is to the remote connection description sent by the remote gateway (or related call agent) If the value of this object is lclRcdLco(6), then effectively the preferences are: 1. the first priority is to the local CODEC list stored in local gateway 2. the second priority is to the remote connection description sent by the remote gateway (or related call agent) 3. the last priority is to the local connection options sent by the local call agent.
