This object is used to create, delete or modify a row in this table. To create a new VCL, this object is initially set to 'createAndWait' or 'createAndGo'. This object must not be set to 'active' unless the following columnar objects exist in this row: atmVclReceiveTrafficDescrIndex, atmVclTransmitTrafficDescrIndex. In addition, if the local VCL end-point is also the VCC end-point: atmVccAalType. In addition, for AAL5 connections only: atmVccAal5CpcsTransmitSduSize, atmVccAal5CpcsReceiveSduSize, and atmVccAal5EncapsType.
