This value indicates the maximum number of sequentially numbered I frames that may be outstanding (that is, unacknowledged) at any given time. This number shall not exceed 127. For a 16Kbps link: k = 3, 64Kbps: k = 7 (this is the default value), 384Kbps: k = 32, 1.5Mbps/1.92Mbps: k = 40.
