This object controls the format of syslog messages sent in response to a flood rate limit being violated. A value of notification(1) causes the syslog message to provide the index of the violated limiter and the port(s) that the violation occurred on. A value of notificationWithPktHdr(2) causes the syslog message to provide the first 64 bytes of the violating packet in addition to the information provided by notification(1).
