Network DECnet IV Protocol If Transmit Cost

Sets the cost of transmitting a packet on the network segment connected to the router port for which the entry exists. The DECnet Phase IV distance-vector-based routing protocol picks the route with the least total nwDecIVProtoIfXmitCost as the best route. If nwDecIVProtocolIfXmitCost, also known as path cost, is the same for all possible routes , the best route chosen is the route with the least number of hops is chosen as the best route.
