This attribute specifies whether mu-law to A-law PCM conversion is performed. aLawConversion only needs to be set to on when this voice service is running on a DS1V or 1pDS1V FP and the VoiceService at the remote end of the connection is running on an E1V or 1pE1V FP using a software release prior to 5.0. If the remote end software release is 5.0 or later, end to end negotiation determines the compander law to use at each end of the connection. In this case, the value of aLawConversion is ignored.
