This attribute counts the total number of frames retransmitted by the IWF V.42 entity in a data call. The V.42 retransmits the same frame when the associated T401 acknowledgment timer timeouts or when a Reject (REJ) supervisory frame has been received from the PSTN modem. The counter wraps when it exceeds the maximum value.
