The nextHop is the name of the component across the bus which is forwarding packets to us. Inversely the nextHop of our nextHop component is us. More precisely, LCh/n components point to each other across the bus via their nextHop attributes. In the case where the next hop is an application the nextHop attribute will indicate the component name of this application.
