This attribute is indicative of the number of frames that were discarded because of the following two reasons: a) there was no entry for the 'allowed to go' field in the static table entry, where the input port is this bridge port. b) for spanning tree bpdus that are locally processed. This counter wraps around its maximum value of 4294967295. It might prove useful to check the static table entry corresponding to the bridge port in question, if this counter consistently displays a high value. Ideally this counter should be as low as possible.
