This attribute specifies the configured interval in seconds, between BGP KEEPALIVE message retransmissions. It is used to establish the ratio between keepalive interval and hold time. If this attribute is zero, then the holdTimeConfigured attribute should also be zero, which means that periodic KEEPALIVE messages will not be sent.
