This object is the number of octets contained in valid frames that have been transmitted on this port. This counter is incremented by OctetCount for each frame transmitted on this port which has not been encountered with a collision event. This statistic provides an indicator of the total data transferred. Note that this counter and fethPortLower32TransmittedOctets forms a 64 bits counter. It is provided for those network management protocols that do not support 64 bit counters (e.g. SNMP V1) and the repeater type is 100Mbs.
