An indication of the current setting of the port's virtual characteristic. This parameter affects the port's actions when connections are established. Refer to the user manual for a complete description of this parameter. Note that for ports with vPortType = 'physicalLCDPanel(5)' or vPortType = 'virtualConsole(6)' this object is not modifiable. The agent will accept any valid value on a set-request for such ports.
