Compaq Scsi Controller Soft Resets
1.3.6.1.4.1.232.5.2.2.1.1.9

Compaq SCSI Controller Soft Resets. This is the number of times the SCSI Hardware Interface driver has issued a reset command to all devices on a SCSI bus since the driver was loaded. Soft resets occur when the device driver is initializing the SCSI bus for operation and when device errors have left the bus in an ambiguous state. If this value should rise dramatically, you may have a problem. Check the SCSI bus statistics for unusually high error counts. If there is a device with a large number of bus errors, it may be failing and should be and should be replaced.
