Compaq SCSI Device Bus Select Time-outs This is the number of times the controller attempted to start communications with a device by selecting it but the device did not respond. If you see any select time-outs you may have a problem. The device may have hung during operations. The SCSI controller will attempt to reset the device but if this value continues to increment you may need to power cycle the device.
