This counter is the sum of mib items cpqNicIfPhysAdapterAlignmentErrors, cpqNicIfPhysAdapterFCSErrors, cpqNicIfPhysAdapterFrameTooLongs, and cpqNicIfPhysAdapterInternalMacReceiveErrors. If this counter increments frequently, check the more detailed error statistics and take appropriate action.
