This variable indicates if there is an alarm present for the DS3 PLCP. The value receivedFarEndAlarm means that the DS3 PLCP has received an incoming Yellow Signal, the value incomingLOF means that the DS3 PLCP has declared a loss of frame (LOF) failure condition, and the value noAlarm means that there are no alarms present. Transition from the failure to the no alarm state occurs when no defects (e.g., LOF) are received for more than 10 seconds.
