The type of encoding used to identify the chassis component associated with the local system. When chassis id subtype is configured as chassiscomp/portcomp/local it is mandatory to configure the fsLldpLocChassisId object. If fsLldpLocChassisId object is not configured then current value of fsLldpLocChassisId is advertised. When chassis id subtype is configured as ifalias/macaddr/nwaddr/ ifname it is not required to configure fsLldpLocChassisId object. System specific values are used for setting fsLldpLocChassisId object.
