Determines how the IQ device will respond to polls from the DTE device during a network failure. If set to always on, the IQ will respond to polls during a network failure. If set to follow network, the IQ will not respond thus emulating a failure to the DTE device. If the IQ is responsible for dial backup, this option should be set to always on.
